The Many Benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar

About a year ago, I was having some issues with my digestion. I won't go into a lot of detail here, but suffice it to say there was a little indigestion and discomfort happening. I had known about apple cider vinegar for years, and even used it on occasion, but I had forgotten about the awesome power of its tart, acquired taste!


Once I started taking a spoonful in the mornings again, my surly stomach settled right down. And....I was, once again, a true believer.


This simple and natural food has an amazing array of benefits that are worthy of your attention. Apple cider vinegar has been used for decades in folk medicine and has even become a bit more mainstream in recent years. According to much of the research out there, raw organic apple cider vinegar has the following abilities....and many more, I'm sure:


* strengthens the immune system

* can assist in curbing acid reflux

* helps diabetics control blood sugar levels * promotes balanced triglyceride and cholesterol levels * kills cancer cells and slows their growth * supports healthy weight loss * improves digestion and absorption of food * works to create a balanced and healthy gut biome


With all of these incredible ways to improve your health, we should all be taking a little shot of this wonder-stuff every morning, at the least, and before every meal, at best. One caveat worth mentioning is that some say it can erode tooth enamel, if you're not careful, so you might want to drink it through a straw or simply follow each dose with a big swish of water.
