Since hosting The Mother Cub Show, All About Autism several years ago, I decided that I needed to share some of the content created from that time. I was fortunate and honored to meet and interact with so many brilliant people in the autism community (like Dr. Andy Wakefield and Temple Grandin – see pictures below). Unfortunately, the epidemic of autism shows no signs of slowing down any time soon and it seems more and more people are searching for answers to help their children. That is why I wanted to share the information and research I’ve learned over the years.

Autism is a complicated condition, often involving multiple systems throughout the body from the brain to the gut to the nervous system and even all the way down to the individual cells of the body. Every child with autism is affected differently and each needs an individualized approach. There are certain things, however, that I believe all children can benefit from in order to receive improvement in their behavior and overall health.

I hope the information you find here prompts you and your loved ones to begin the journey of helping your kids to heal. It is not a simple task, but it can be done – if not a full recovery, then at least a healthier one for you and your family. I speak from personal experience as I was able to help my own son go from being a very sick toddler to valedictorian of his high school. It has not been an easy journey, by any stretch, but if I had to do it all over again, I would do it in a heartbeat!
