“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.”
~Dr. Seuss~
I have loved writing ever since I was a little girl. I get a real kick out of creating dynamic characters and bringing them to life, often loosely based in some way on my own life or the people in it. As they say, “truth is stranger than fiction”, and I believe there is a lot of merit to that concept. We live in an exciting, turbulent, chaotic world that is also wonderful and full of unexpected surprises.
Opening the cover of a book, whether fiction or nonfiction, can bring us information and insights that we might not otherwise encounter. Much of my writing revolves around autism as that has been such a large part of my life. Some have been written under Susan Lynn Perry and others under Susan Taylor.
If you love fiction, you don’t want to miss reading my best-selling novel, Hindsight, and the soon-to-be-released sequel, Insight. If nonfiction is more of your thing, I would recommend Mother Cub or Procrastination Elimination. Or if you prefer short stories, you can’t go wrong with any of the Chicken Soup for the Soul books, especially the Angels edition or Unexplained Miracles (I’m slightly biased as I have short stories in each of those:) I encourage you to peruse my books and discover the wonderful life lessons that lie beyond the front cover. Enjoy the adventure!
(All of my books can be purchased on Amazon or in the online IUniverse bookstore (www.iuniverse.com/bookstore) **Special note: Hindsight has just been republished under author name Susan Taylor and the sequel, Insight, will be available soon. Click on the image to purchase.
Kate Mitchell, a single mother of a boy with autism, once dreamed of climbing the corporate ladder and living the good life with the man of her dreams. Now, with an abusive ex-husband, escalating medical bills, and fading hope for her son’s future, she has no choice but to sue the giant pharmaceutical company she believes is responsible for her son’s illness. Through a random twist of fate, the young and inexperienced lawyer, James Mouton, takes her case, and the two embark on a journey that will forever change their lives and potentially those of thousands of others affected by the growing epidemic of autism.
