Top Tips for Anti-Aging

Updated: Apr 27, 2020

If you’re serious about looking younger, you need to be taking action every single day. The good news is that it doesn’t have to take hours to do so. In fact, an effective daily anti-aging regimen can take just a few minutes each day.

Daily Skincare

An effective skincare routine is essential if you want to keep looking young as the years pass by. Every night before bed, make sure you remove your makeup, cleanse and tone your skin, exfoliate and moisturize. This will remove dead skin cells and toxins from the skin and encourage the growth of fresh and youthful new skin cells. Also, make sure you use eye cream because the skin around the eyes is more susceptible to the effects of aging, so it needs added protection.

To get the maximum anti-aging benefit from your daily skincare regimen, make sure you use organic skincare products or natural solutions. There are many high-quality organic skincare products available for you to buy or you can make your own with ingredients such as brown sugar (which is a great natural exfoliant), coconut oil (which is a powerful natural moisturizer) and honey (which is a highly effective natural deep cleansing solution).

Try this amazing homemade facial scrub recipe:

· 1/4 cup brown sugar (packed down)

· 2 tablespoons olive or coconut oil (melted)

· 1 teaspoon honey

· 2 oz glass jar

Directions: Mix all ingredient in a small bowl. Add a few drops of your favorite essential oil or oils of choice for added benefit and scent. I like 3 drops of sandalwood and 2 drops of lavender. Once ingredients are blended together, place into jar.

To Use: On freshly washed skin, take approximately one tablespoon of the scrub and gently rub into facial skin using small, circular motions. Be careful to avoid the eyes. Gently scrub face for 60 seconds, then rinse with warm water and pat dry. Repeat once per week.

Daily Diet

While a daily skincare routine is a great foundation for anti-aging success, true skin transformation comes from the inside out. You need to make sure that you’re giving your body the internal nourishment it needs to keep your skin youthful.

First, you need to be eating plenty of antioxidants each day. Antioxidants protect your skin from free radicals which accelerate the visible signs of aging. They also repair the skin, reduce the appearance of existing blemishes and give it a brighter, smoother look. Fruits, vegetables, nuts, and seeds are all great sources of antioxidants that you should be eating regularly.

Second, you need to make sure your body is fully hydrated so that your skin is fresh and moist. To stay hydrated, drink at least eight glasses of water per day. If you find drinking that much plain water difficult, mix up your intake with fruit-infused water, fruit teas and water-rich fruits and vegetables (like watermelon and cucumber).

Daily Lifestyle

When you have a daily skincare and diet regimen in place, your skin will quickly start to look years younger. However, for even healthier, younger-looking skin, there are a few more things you should be doing daily.

First, commit to getting eight hours of sleep every night. Sleep is important for so many aspects of your health and your skin is no exception. It allows your body to deeply nourish and repair your skin cells which results in a much more youthful complexion for you.

Second, stay out of the sun for long periods of time. Short, daily exposure is great for Vitamin D production, but I’m talking 10-15 minutes, not hours. The harmful UV rays from long-term exposure to sunlight can damage your skin and make it age much faster. If you do have to spend extended amounts of time in the sun, wear a hat and use organic sunscreen regularly to protect your skin.

Following the advice listed above will greatly assist you in looking and feeling better. For an added boost, I highly recommend adding redox signaling molecules to your daily routine. These amazing molecules are found in every cell of the body, but the older you get, the less you have. By supplementing with the only patented product proven to contain these molecules, you can easily support healthy cellular rejuvenation and the ability to repair cell damage.
